Is VidiLex just transcription software? Short answer: No. Transcription is only the starting point — VidiLex turns video into structured, searchable knowledge.

Security & Data Protection
Where is our data hosted? Short answer: Data residency: EU-hosted. Customer data is stored and processed in the EU by default. Available worldwide. EU-grade privacy by default.

Is VidiLex GDPR-compliant? Short answer: Yes. VidiLex is built with a GDPR-first architecture and supports deletion and access requirements.

Is our data used to train AI models? Short answer: No. Customer data is not used for model training.

AI & Digital Sovereignty
Which AI models do you use? Short answer: VidiLex uses European endpoints for transcription and European-hosted models (including Mistral) for knowledge retrieval.
Deep answer: Model selection and governance are managed by VidiLex to ensure predictable behavior, EU hosting, and compliance-friendly operation. Customers do not need to manage model configuration to meet sovereignty requirements.
What does "digital sovereignty" mean in VidiLex? Short answer: Data hosting, processing, and AI workloads operate under European control and jurisdiction.

Can our customers access VidiLex directly? Short answer: Yes. Many SaaS companies provide one workspace per customer as a Customer Academy.

Do we pay per user? Short answer: No. Plans include unlimited registered users (fair use).

Pricing & Limits
What is a "concurrent active user"? Short answer: A user actively interacting with VidiLex at the same time (watching, searching, or chatting).
Deep answer: This differs from total registered users. Concurrency limits protect reliability during peak usage, while still allowing you to invite unlimited users under fair use.
What happens if we reach a plan limit? Short answer: VidiLex applies soft limits: queuing, throttling, and clear UI feedback.
Deep answer: When usage spikes, requests may be queued temporarily and users see "please wait" messaging. Long-term sustained usage typically indicates it's time to upgrade for dedicated capacity.
Can we start small and upgrade later? Short answer: Yes. Many teams start with Business or Professional and upgrade as usage grows.
